Morsek

Band formed in 1999, in São Bernardo do Campo, SP, initially by Ronaldo (vocal) and Cristiano (guitar) that met through a friend in common and having the same musical interests, decided to create Morsek. A month later, Nivaldo (bass) and Guilherme (drums) got together to the band, that started to perform at the places in the underground circuit in São Paulo playing Fear Factory covers, one of their main influences. Ronaldo and Cristiano kept always playing together in the band, that had some changes since the beginning, but that in 2001 had its first demo recorded, with their own musics. In 2004 was recorded their EP Morsek, that showed the bands new face, with more heavy and defined sounds. The band kept performing, but due to new changes the EP that should have been recorded in 2005 was postponed, giving place to rehearsals and shows with the new members that today make part of the most solid formation since its beginning with Ronaldo Coelho (vocal), Cristiano Behringer (guitar), Ricardo Mantoan (drums) and Thiago Corá (bass). Morsek is now in studio pre-recording their first album that should be done by the end of the year, with more mature, complex and heavy songs!
